You have an oval, it has a center... it can rotate.

You have a number of circle pegs, they're pretty small. You can place them around the oval as you wish.

Can you prevent the oval from rotating and/or sliding with only 2 pegs?

You can with 3, of course, I wanna know if it can be done with 2.

Preventing it from rotating is easy.

Sliding though is a different story. If you didn't say around the oval, and cut put them inside, it is possible, but I believe you need 3 to prevent the oval from sliding at all.
