I was disappointed by how incredibly bland the whole thing was. I thought it was going to cross lines. Tap into territory that was borderline pornographic. Something to shock viewers and go places no mainstream movie has ever gone before. Something to bridge the gap between big budget Hollywood films....and low-budget amateur pornos. Change the face of entertainment.
All this build up about rules, violence, dominance, punishment, hardcore fucking, control, subservience......and what's the most that ever happens? He slaps her. He puts a blindfold on her. They talk about buttplugs.They have sex in the missionary position. OMG he ties her up! THE HORROR!!!!! SO SHOCKING AND EXTREME!!!! The whole series was more tame than a Catholic wedding.
