Heard this while listening to a podcast at work one night and wondered since the bear sounds seemed to be added in, but I know nothing about how bears actually sound in a situation like that.

Another thing is that it seemed to take him forever to lose consciousness, and I would think a bear would be better at killing than that.

A lot of wild land predators dont fully kill their prey before starting to eat. They just injure them enough so that they cant escape.
