I miss the 80's when Rock went through the rebellious teen phase 80s rock is the peak of the genre imo, you got the new wavers, the post-punk guys, the hardcore dudes, hair metal, thrashers, all great stuff It was a great balance of when the genre was still youthful and fun while gaining more and more sophistication and pushing boundaries --- http://imgur.com/a/RJN1f my favorite albums ... Call Me Maybe is one of the worst songs I've ever heard. Not one of my favorites of hers, Id recommend looking into the Emotion album which sounds very different ![]() --- http://imgur.com/a/RJN1f my favorite albums ... Copied to Clipboard!

remember when being radical wasn't mainstream There has always been artists both mainstream and non-mainstream who have been both radical and non-radical, since the dawn of commericialized music --- http://imgur.com/a/RJN1f my favorite albums ... Copied to Clipboard!

SMAP- posted...mainstream rock To an extent. The likes of Imagine Dragons, Coldplay, etc. still garner decent mainstream attention overall, but you can also speak more relatively. There are dedicated rock stations that are still quite popular for modern mainstream rock that often play music of bands who experienced their commercial peak 10-20 years ago, lots of awful nu metal, post-grunge, etc. like Nickelback and Korn are still mainstream relative to most rock bands, even if they arent as successful as they once were --- http://imgur.com/a/RJN1f my favorite albums ...
