Cat got out in the middle of the night by wiggling through a gap in the AC. Clever, and weird. She's an indoor cat.

Back a day later. Covered in fleas. Couldn't get the frontline on fast enough as dozens hopped off her into the apartment. All hell as officially broken loose only 24 hours later.

Help.

I got a legit flea collar from my vet. Forgot the brand. Fleas were gone from my house and my dog in days.

This. Fleas are pretty easy to get rid of as long as you get rid of the source IE your cat going outside and getting them

Food grade Diatomaceous Earth.

Look into it.

Also Frontline seems to be inferior to Advantage.

My GF put this on everything in the house including the cats. It didn't do a single thing except get dust everywhere. It cost like $20 and is food grade.

Really? Worked great for us. Two cats, and two outside strays. Rubbed it on all four and put the non food grade version around the house. Left it all over for the day and then vacuumed it up. Got rid of them within a week. That was after advantage on the two indoor cats and a bath on the one who had them worse.

if you're looking for 'safer' stuff like this, borax should work well enough. i used it to get rid of a really fun carpenter ant issue in my attic years ago.

wont kill flea eggs though. still got to bathe the cat.

Urine.

Just pee all over the place.

Or was that for jelly fish stings....? I forget now.

no, that's just an excuse for someone to piss on you. vinegar works on to deactivate jellyfish stingers though.
