Tiptup appeared in the Banjo-Kazooie games.
Krunch is a Kremling and thus linked to King K. Rool despite never appearing in any other game.
I believe there were plans for Timber, Pipsy, and I believe Bumper to appear in a game together.

Imagine a timeline where they all got their own games, and Diddy Kong Racing can never be rereleased or remade without significant changes to the roster because those characters are now linked to IPs owned by Rare and Microsoft.
