I normally just trim very very low with a electric beard trimmer on the lowest setting (easier than shaving)

If I need to be clean shaven I just use whatever is around. usually a triple blade from my wife

I shave my neckbeard and use an electric trimmer occasionally but I'm always rocking a pretty thick beard. I haven't had a shaved face in years

I use an all-metal razor handle from Colonel Conk with some generic Trac II-compatible blades. The razor cost $9 and the blades were $14 for 100 from Amazon. That should last me the better part of a decade. I think I get a closer shave with a 2-blade razor than I got with 4- and 5-blades, and they're way cheaper.

Instead of shaving foam, I use a steel shaving bowl with Colonel Conk shave soap and a badger hair brush. One bar of shave soap usually costs about $3 and lasts around 6 months. Shaving feels a lot better than when I used canned foam.

I prefer lotion or gel type aftershave because it sticks to the skin and doesn't run everywhere like most liquid aftershaves. I get whatever cheapest, usually either Afta or Gillette for about $1 a bottle.
