Nah, EC>>pure popular vote.

This tends to be the complete argument for pro-EC people. They're just not capable of much thought.

The idea is to make Wyoming somewhat relevant.
Of course the math gets really weird in that a Wyoming vote is worth six or seven California votes, last time I checked.

But there wouldn't be states voting. It would just be every American citizen casting a vote for whoever they want to be President. California wouldn't be swinging shit. The conservative in California and the liberal in Alabama would finally have a reason for going to the polls. Hell, aren't parts of Cali heavily conservative anyway? Is it fair that the cities are neutering their votes through the EC?

President is suppose to represent the entire nation interest not just the urban sprawl
I believe each district should award it own EC instead of the winner take all bs and each state awards 2 base on popular vote of all district combine
It the best way to get everyone motivated to vote in both red and blue states

Why dont the democrats get rid of super delegates first oh wait then she couldnt be their candidate.

This so hard lol

Hillary reached the nomination with regular delegates. At the convention she could have handed over all the superdelegates to Bernie and he still wouldnt have reached the nomination.

Funny. She had delegates saying she was gonna get the vote regardless of how the voters voted and on top of that, the DNC debates happened during events such as Sunday Night Football and the season premiere of Game of Thrones. On top of that, we have the WikiLeaks showing emails of them hating on Bernie, we know Debbie worked on Clintons campaign. We know what Happen on the Jet. I just think the irony of someone who did the upmost collusion and delegates, complaining about collusion and the EC(delegates) is funny. Don't you?

That's precisely the problem. People are 'not capable of much thought' and just going by the pure opinion of the masses is scary and a terrible idea.

Plus it's called the "United STATES of America" so States need to count somewhat even if they have less population.

Exactly. The same people that are anti EC are ironically pro affirmative action

Funny. She had delegates saying she was gonna get the vote regardless of how the voters voted

Some superdelegates said they had already decided which candidate they were going to vote for. Superdelegates would get their privilege by running the party, fundraising, and helping candidates throughout the country elected to office.

and on top of that, the DNC debates happened during events such as Sunday Night Football and the season premiere of Game of Thrones.

What, is this supposed to be some sort of corruption? Are they suppose to coordinate with all the television networks other than the ones agreeing to air the debates? If anything this reflects poorly on Americans priorities.

On top of that, we have the WikiLeaks showing emails of them hating on Bernie,

Largely discussions on how to respond to his attacks on the Party.

we know Debbie worked on Clintons campaign.

****y of them

We know what Happen on the Jet.
****y of them

I just think the irony of someone who did the upmost collusion and delegates, complaining about collusion and the EC(delegates) is funny. Don't you?

Yeah theres irony. But thats a political partys inner-workings & corruption. Theyre clubs & organizations with their own interests.

Government on the other hand is paid by the people, should work for the people, and be held accountable in accordance with the law.
