I did enjoy the game immensely. I consider it a solid 7/10.

Few complaints:
The stories had potential, but weren't fleshed out enough to get really invested in any of them.
The formula of each "chapter" was quickly realized and got tired pretty fast.
The maps all felt pretty samey, with a different backdrop and color palette.
A little bit too much grinding for my tastes.

Really, the story elements surrounding the game all felt too stiff. The battle system, job system, and gameplay itself was all incredible though.

I hope a sequel comes out, I think a sequel will really nail and surpass all the missed marks of this one.

EDIT: Actually I'd give it an 8.5/10 though. But I agree with all the points. Gameplay is a huge deal for me, and the gameplay was awesome.
