Well, at least a free mode anyway In GTA5, there are all sorts of things to grind for like cars and cribs and what not. And you can always make new looking stuff because of it's modern setting. That's the problem with optional DLC. To buy that though you have to own a livery first. Grind stagecoach missions to earn a pittance. You can find more money under your couch cushions. -Earn extra cents by buying a saloon! Only a couple million bucks, but it will provide you more money making opportunities that will take you months just to pay off what you paid to buy it in the first place. -Get your own Riverboat! It doesn't do anything, but it's only 5 million bucks. That's the problem with optional DLC. The developers design the game to incentivize spending the money, if there is no pay to win option they would make it less grindy. Exactly I barely made any profit soloing missions that any decent upgrade home/car/gun would have taken me too long to justify playing.
