How is this any more far-fetched than "Let's make a game about catching them all. Let's make our players actually have to have the socialization skills to find other Pokemon players with a cable link that are reliable enough to trade you back your Pokemon and such when you need it"

This Kanto event has been great. I didn't expect them to hand us all of these hard to find pokemon like kabuto and porygon.

Kabuto was everywhere during the rock event.

That said, Porygon is great to finally see.

How is this any more far-fetched than "Let's make a game about catching them all. Let's make our players actually have to have the socialization skills to find other Pokemon players with a cable link that are reliable enough to trade you back your Pokemon and such when you need it"

Wish we knew more people that played so we can go after the legendary raids. Two people with ~2500CP pokemon just isn't enough.

Yeah. My friends and I are going to trade dupes the others didnt get when the event is done. You have something like a 12.5% of getting a regional from an egg and Taurus is more common out of those...

You have to be right next to the person you're trading with

So international trading is just about impossible

Heck, there's like 2 people who regularly leave the state in my city's discord group and they're always bugged for trades so people can get those "collectively reach X, X00 and X0000 miles though trades" ones.

Same here, except my wife isnt playing it again. I have nobody to do raids with so I basically only do lvl 1 and 2. Im a lot more casual about it now because of a few things, but one of the issues with the game is how a good bit of content is out of reach because of not having friends to play with and not as many random people playing the game. There has been only two times that I have had somebody nearby during a raid, and only once of those two times did they join it.

Even small towns might have one of them. For places like Portland, there's sub channels in the discord for all the different areas of Portland and surrounding cities, plus the standard "looking to trade, add friends here" channels.
