this site was already dying when i came here, now it's going down the shitter even faster. reasons for this i assume are:
-terrible moderation and moderators. seriously, these are people who spend their free time policing online. not to mention the dumb and inconsistent moderation policies. like why is posting woman who are covered in thin strings not getting moderated but calling someone a child is??? isn't this site pg-13

-dead game boards. most of them from what I remember were all 2-3x more active than they are now. the only time in recent memory when there was a lot of people posting at the same time was during the off-topic flari which got gutted the same day it came out. throw in the fact that most games have regularly managed wikipedias and there's plenty of information online, there's no point in coming to this site except for niche communities, and even those are harmed by the extremely strict line between on and off-topic posting.

like what is even the point of posting on this site besides trolling/shitposting?

I wonder if this place would be better if there were fewer trolls. And yet if the mods crack down on them, there's backlash from...the trolls. Funny how that works.
