Do you like Spider-Man? Do you like open world games like prototype or the rocksteady Batmans where you can use nifty things to get around? If so yes, this is the best iteration of those things in game form

Honestly, yes. It's easily the best Spider-Man game, and you can tell a lot of love and care were put into it to finally give the license some gaming respect.

I paid full price for it and have zero regrets. Loved it. Definitely one of the best entries in the series.

Also web swinging is fun as hell

It's kind of short/easy to Platinum, but super fun.

If you liked any other Spider-Man game, you're pretty much guaranteed to enjoy it.

You'll easily get 20 hours out of the story and side quests, then probably 25-30 to platinum.

I rented it for 3 nights from Redbox for $7 and got the plat.

I had the whole weekend free to do so, but yeah, add a night or two and you'd still save a bunch of money.

I think it's great but unless there is a ton of post-game content I don't think it's quite worth $60

I wish the backpacks were hidden to make exploration actually worth while

and I wish the landmark collectibles had ratings or something based on how good a picture you took

Starting my second playthrough, it's become a slog.

It's that classic Sony problem of being a one playthrough game. They have absolutely no post game content, it's just the same 5 guys over and over.

I'm still okay with paying full price cause I want more good Marvel games, but yeah it feels weak in the post game.
