AKA how to hear 500 ways of people sucking up to you (or career fair). Not to say I do meet genuine good candidates, but I prefer leadership events for networking because most of the conversation I have, when networking, are real conversations and not ones of people trying to suck my dick for a job offer. I keep telling my firm to send someone else who enjoys doing this, but no apparently I lack seniority to say no because I'm an Alumni from my college. Bright side, they don't require me to wear a tie or blazers anymore.
