I work 72 hours a week and the money is great but I literally don't have time for anything else except on Sunday which is my only day off. You're not going to have time for anything at all at 80 hours a week and you better be enjoying your job at that point. Other than that, I would say try it But you better have good time management skills to do other stuff (laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc).

Depends on your goals.
When I was19 I was doing 16-20 hour days, every day, for weeks on end in the oilfield. It was glorious. I made more money as a goombah than guys out if college. But I could only do it so long. Now, I have no issue doing 12-16 hour days, or longer, because I'm looking to climb within my company. And work ethic, and meeting deadlines (even shitty ones) matters.
