Seems a bit extreme. Besides, they're a couple in their 70s. I doubt they would try anything. But they still stole my stuff. They're probably halfway through the first boxset, and have already seen several adventures with Mulder and Scully. I wish this happened the other way around, so various people around my neighbourhood paid for stuff, but I actually got to keep it.

some major city's have amazon lockers. if really worried about your stuff getting hijacked when you're not home. they can put it in the locker for pick-up.

there's pro's and con's for doing this but it's pretty much safe to prevent it from happening.

i can understand not being at home at the time of the delivery day, UPS and fedex can deliver when you least expect it, we all have lives especially with job.
