mrduckbear 09/13/18 12:23:22 AM #1:	Are you surprised that a tree branch could do this much hurt? - Results (0 votes) Yes.. % (0 votes) 0 No % (0 votes) 0 Police are on the hunt for a mysterious attacker who the teens describe as black male aged 16-18 who attacked them with a TREE BRANCH!! 16 y/o James Critz and 15 y/o Isabela Perdomo were brutally attacked as they gathered samples from a remote part of campus at Florida's International University where they attend classes in the integrated Marine Academy of Science and Technology They said the teen boy jumped them and beat them with a small tree branch just seconds after he walked past them and said "hello" At first they thought they were hit with a "club" but realized it was a tree branch which the attacker snapped off from a tree He fled the scene without robbing or sexually assaulting them and is yet to bef ound Isabela was able to make her way to a nearby building to call help and both were taken to hospital where both suffered skull fractures and facial injuries. Police are now tracking down a suspect as it remains unclear who the boy that attacked them was where more than 40,000 are enrolled there. The area where they were attacked is not frequented by students and can be accessed by the public The marine academy is a magnet school for high school aged students. His mother said he's now breathing on his own and responding to some commands but is in and out of consciousness after suffering from skull fractures and a broken bone in his spine. Perdomo is in a lot of pain but is starting to eat and is able to intermittently recall what happened during the attack on Monday, her mother said. She is also dealing with a cracked skull.
