Once or twice, maybe. But mostly with cheats. Pretty sure I never completed the Chronoscepter without cheats.

Incidentally that game did more to scar me towards bottomless pit deaths than any other.

Yes, but it was so long ago I barely remember anything. Looked up a vid. of the final boss to refresh my memory.

Is it like 2 where if you use cheats you can't get the true ending?

Shadow Man was the same damn way.

I gamer can get lost for days in that game.

I've put more time in Shadow Man than I did in OoT.

Turok was my first FPS, so... no, not when it came out.

I beat the PC remaster a couple years ago though, pretty easily. The hardest part is the platforming, imo.

It's been a long time since I was a kid when I played this game at the time, but basically you had to pick your fights if I recall.

I couldn't tell you the rest, it has been way too long.

I know for a fact I never finished Turok 2, that game was utterly confusing.

I beat the first two games. I loved them too much to give up. Childhood me had a lot more patience. If the games were new to me NOW, I doubt I'd hang in there till the end.

I love the original a lot more than 2 despite the better graphics and weapons. I really need to replay them...

IIRC level 5's tough and maze-y, and has a boss (not all stages have bosses, right?). Good luck.

This topic's kinda making me wanna dust of the old N64 and give this game a run for the first time in...geez, close to two decades @_@

Best I got was chapter 23, inside the juggernaut when it was just too many enemies for me to handle, had to use cheats. That loading screen is a huge deterrent lol

I love how the running actually feels like running rather than smoothly coasting across the land. The same goes for the climbing.

No, because I could never find my way out of the damn catacombs

It was always a gamble if I decided to rent the game for a weekend because I never knew if I was going to get any further (and I never did). It sucked too because I knew some epic bosses were right around the corner

Hell, I never even beat the 2nd one and I owned it along with the strategy guide (Still that was an amazing Christmas because I got both that game and Ocarina of Time)

Very frustrating games, but some of the best on the system
