At the end of the film a tornado formed literally just to kill Helen Hunt's grandmother and give her motivation.

That literally happened.

The film pretended it was just a natural weather thing and not supernatural sentient tornados, but it literally happened.

That movie was dumb.

Battleship did.

I enjoyed that movie. It was like if you take Transformers and put some self aware humour into it. And also the guy from Ichi the Killer. And less obnoxious action scenes.

Best B-movie that didn't quite know it was a B-movie ever. Zany supporting cast, corny love triangle subplot, tornadoes that had no less predatory sentience than Jaws.

I remember my friend saying that the movie sucked because the tornados couldn't even blow off her tank top

I saw it in theatres as a kid and it was probably one of the more fun movies I saw on the big screen
