A big driver of the gigantic exodus from cable is being expected to pay upwards of $100 a month, and still get dogpiled with ads.

That may be true for you but I don't think it's a main driving factor for why people use the service. Personally I got it because cable is prohibitively expensive.

If Im going to pay for a service, I dont want ads. I dont care what kind of ad. If they want to introduce a two tier payment system for ads and no ads, go ahead, but having ads is counterproductive to a streaming service.

Yep, and then we might start seeing ads on other streaming services as well like the WWE Network. We might get 5 of them during an old PPV we're watching or something.
