Joseph was his ancestor, so it wasn't to far out to see Jotaro get The World. Plus, there were many comparisons between them, like the fact that they were both short range, fast and powerful. Stands usually have more than one ability, and Jotaro had recently got his stand.

the last Stand battle of part 4 feels like it was actually earned, and incorporated some very creative and interesting elements.

It was actually full of plotholes, and just about everything in Part 4 feels arbitrary and pointless, including the whole arc with the final villain.

The weirdness ramps up over time, but at a rate that doesn't get overwhelming. Each part is basically a standalone story, and in most cases an entirely separate genre from previous parts. Part one is a straight up vampire hunter story sort of like castlevania. Part two involves nazis and the occult in World War II era New York. Part 3 is basically around the world in 80 days. Part 4 is a small town murder mystery. The change keeps each part fresh, but a lot of the weirdness you see builds up from part to part.

To be fair I think it's fatigue from binge-watching and seeing so much of Koichi, and I'm very early into the episode.

Just finished part 4. Very good. I rank the arcs as 2 > 3 > 4> 1, although I like them all.

I hear part 5 is coming real soon. Trying to decide whether I should hold off on reading the manga so I can have a new episode to look forward to every week.

Five is coming out so soon that you should probably wait. Also, the main villian's power is inconsistently portrayed in the part 5 manga (leading to the "it just works" meme), so the anime will probably be a less confusing experience because whoever writes the script will have the power of hindsight to iron out the wrinkles in its portrayal.

Definitely read the manga eventually though. Notably, this is where the "beef fortress" style of Araki's figure drawing has faded away, and the characters are proportioned more like their anime adaptations.

Personally I feel its like Part 3, where you watch it for the cool fights and supporting cast. Giorno came off as a little flat to me in the manga. The anime is only one episode in, but he seems a bit more interesting in animation >_>

Which translation did you read? The original one made everyone feel pretty flat.

Before I used Crunchyroll I watched JoJo on Hulu, and I assume it has part 5. Doing a general Google search also yields lots of results but it will take some trial and error before you find a usable link. Why not Crunchyroll by the way?

Yeah, last I heard the revival wasn't going so well. There are nowhere near as much seeders. It'd be better to gogo stream so lovely you could kiss it site. At least, that's what I do for shows unavailable anywhere else.

Anyone else feel weird how everyone is wearing normal clothing except for Giorno? Also I never realized the yaoi tension until I watched the first episode. From giorno getting licked by bruno to giorno getting his clothes unzipped (unbutton?) from leaky eye luca swing. With that said, I'm really digging the color scheme they're using here and the animation is pretty decent. Really looking forward to the opening song and what English song they're going to use for the ending.
