Imagine if people had this mentality during the Civil Rights movement of the 50s and 60s. Rather than call out and act against the racism, they just took it lying down or left the country, leaving the powers that be to continue their legally-endorsed hatred and persecution.

Also, it's only been 50 years since the Civil Rights Act passed, but there are still issues that need to be addressed, which won't happen unless attention is called to them and a dialogue is started.

Nearly all of those slaves had no history with Africa, because all of that was torn away the slavers. Why would they move back to an unknown land when they could remain in the land they were born in and work to make it better for themselves?

You're basically saying that White people--or people in power--should have the right to discriminate and those affected by it should either shut up and deal, or get out. How would that improve things if no one took them to task? (Which people did, and we have the Civil Rights Act as a result.)
