I go to a small church where everyone knows everyone. Sometimes I'm asked to announce the songs (MC). On the days I usually do this, we have another speaker preach. It's to the point where I don't agree with this speaker and would rather not sit through one of his history lessons (that's what they are). I'd like to leave before he preaches but I don't want to make it obvious that I am leaving. They will notice.
Should I just suffer through his talk? The best case scenario would be to just skip the days he is speaking. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Maybe bring it up with the pastor and other members that you're unhappy with this speaker?

If you know what days he's going to be there, just don't go.

I feel your pain TC. The majority of the congregation at my church is blatantly wrong on stuff and any time I point out scripture to the contrary the response I get is "lol no".
My whole family goes to this church and if I skipped out and actually voiced my issues they'd call me a heretic and have nothing to do with me. --- "You will pay dearly for your futile resistance!" ... Copied to Clipboard!
