Outside of red meat (mammals) which has a good body of evidence of being linked to negative health outcomes, fish and chicken don't appear to be bad for you and I say this as a vegetarian. If you look at longevity studies, people eating just fish live about the same length as vegetarians/vegans.

I've noticed that the last couple of years, if I have a big greasy burger or a big steak it's like it stays with me until the next day. In the sense that I just don't feel like eating.
For instance I had a big dinner on Sunday night. Big steak with other stuff. I didn't feel hungry again until late afternoon Monday. I also had killer heartburn and couldn't sleep after that steak dinner. Of course it was with a ton of A1 sauce, 2 glasses of wine and 3 cups of coffee with dessert. --- FFVII Remake: A disaster in the making. Meat was scarce in caveman diets because of the difficulty in getting it. They neither ate nothing but meat, nor ate no meat. But I also wouldn't suggest basing your diet off of people that lived 20-30 years on average.

One dude says to take b12 supplements/shot and I'm like that is the stupidest shit I ever heard, also this is the same dude that said multivitamins are giant placebos at best and harmful at worst, which I completely agree with, then he turns around and say to take a supplement? Seems inconsistent no? Then another dude says that the cause of our diseases and cancers and whatnot... actually stem from the b12 vitamin. I dunno I just don't agree with no meat, but I definitely am into more beans now, they're the best thing I discovered this summer. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Too much of anything is a bad thing, but that doesn't meant that certain people do better with certain diets. For me, gluten and red meat tend to fuck up my digestion, so I mostly eat chicken, fish, rice, and things made of corn flour. Ever since I started limiting stuff like that, I've felt better. That doesn't mean it's no good, it just means it's not good for me.
That being said, WHO basically said red meat is likely carcinogenic, so it probably doesn't hurt to eat a little less and eat a few more vegetables. ... Copied to Clipboard!
