probably first option then. there are some very low iq people out there. Plus, if you're worshipped, there are bound to be people trying to take advantage of you

The smartest person, because who cares what other people think? Also if the dumbest person reflects IQ, that would be on the lowest end of being mentally handicapped (ie, the r-word which you apparently can't use under *any* context including referring to the literal condition) and therefore would diminish any appreciation of life. (Granted, if you were unaware of your faults and lived like that all your life, it's debatable how much it would actually impact you if the world was truly devoted to you.)

Yours.

So neither choice benefits myself or anyone else. I could be a genius but unable to put it to good use due to persecution. Or I could be worshiped but unable to lead my followers in a meaningful way due to ineptitude.

The question is essentially 'what kind of super villain do you want to be?'
