I only got two hours into KH due to the clunky camera and what seemed to be poor audio. I should try it again...

And if Abyss went out here, I'd be totally fine with it. Top 4 is pretty damn good. And it would've lost to two of my other favorites. Again, that feeling of realizing that three of your four nominations that got in are the final three is... both amazing and awkward. (Was me saving them regularly an influence on anything? I only rallied in-topic for Abyss...)

To clarify: You can rally in-topic to your hearts content. This must be directed generally. Asking another game's savers to help you out in exchange for your help really does mean save-trading. You can ask for help so long as you don't offer reciprocation.

To be honest, KH is kind of a tough game to get through if you didn't play it when it first came out. There's a few archaic mechanics and some really frustrating lack of direction that can both make the experience seem like a chore if you don't already know what you're doing.

I think most of the people who love it are people like me, that got into it as a kid, know it backwards and forwards now, and can play through it in the space of an afternoon if they really feel like it. Not to say that it's unenjoyable for new players, but it is a little more hit or miss.

Yeah, I didn't play KH until like 2008 or something like that. It was definitely after I played Abyss and several other games that came after KH. I was 20 y/o at the time (if it was 2008). So yeah, naturally I'm not as big on it. Might be worth another try, but no guarantees. The only things I remember are Sora, the Keyblade, that first boss fight, the door from Alice in Wonderland, and that gay guy... Riku was it?

Speaking of things like that... I was thinking of possibly doing a playthrough topic of whatever won this but clearly that's not going to happen now. I know two of these games like they're my own life's story. The only one I feasibly could is Pokemon White - restarting and finishing a Nuzlocke for once - but eh...
