For those who don't know that is the man that was shot in his own home by a cop for no reason. Besides the police treating her better than they treat most people who Jaywalk. The news reporting just makes me sick. They keep reporting that she mistakenly went to his home. There is not proof of this at all that is she her BS story and the media is reporting as if it is fact. Think if a man went into a women's house at the dead of night killed her for no reason. Would you see reports taking his word for everything that happened.

The burden of proof as always been proving guilt or the crime of someone. Are you suggesting that it be reversed for this case?

There was head lines saying things like " officer mistake his apartment for her" and " She went to the wrong apartment".

It should be this and just this , "Officer guns man down in his own home."

If most people gun someone down in that person own home they will be arrested on the spot. But if they did that little Miss Cop would have to spend to weekend in jail. This way she had time to get her money together so she would be out just like that. Beyond that they are going giving her man when she murdered someone. Manslaughter is an accidental killing, she went to man's home and gunned him down. We know these are facts, we know that is murder.

She was a model cop!. False, she had a similar issue before too.

This is why I laugh my ass off when 45 supporters say that the media has a left bias.

Reporters cannot speculate, editors work with facts they have
They have to go with the facts + what will catch attention

Headlines don't tell the whole story - the problem is that most people do not understand this and read headlines AS the news. They're meant to be succinct summaries that give you the barest of barest facts about the news

Merritt said attorneys presented prosecutors with a witness, and video evidence, which didn't capture the shooting, but declined to elaborate. Jean and Guyger did not have any known relationship prior to the shooting, Merritt said.

"We're still dealing in America with black people being killed in some of the most arbitrary ways, driving while black, walking while black and now we have to add living while black," co-counsel Benjamin Crump said.
