I just ask the salesman at Best Buy what the best PC is and then I buy it with the extended warranty because a PC is a long term investment.

its dead fucking simple.. its easier than lego since you dont even have to be creative. its like putting the square block into the square hole. its expensive, but if you fuck up somehow then you dont deserve money

I was terrified of breaking something when I built my computer. I've had it for four years and it still works though

the first one can be rough because you're not sure how much force you should be exerting to slot and pin things into place

it is pretty easy tho

It's not quantum mechanics. You connect everything together and take reasonable precautions to not have static electricity around when handling components.

most worrying part is just breaking a pin when putting in the cpu iguess since the cpu and mb are usually the most expensive parts. for me the fun is the cable management and trying to make it as neat as possible lol

If you can assemble IKEA furniture, you can put together a PC.

It's stupid easy. 30 mins on YouTube and your good to go.

Hardest part is making sure there is no leak in the water loops and to not get liquid metal everywhere while applying to CPU, also delidding can get tricky because if you mess up the warranty is gone.

You plug like 6 parts into a motherboard.
What's so difficult?

The heatsink was always the hardest for me.

Not that it was complicated to do.

Some of those things can bust your knuckles up taking them off or putting them on.

I'm sure it's easier now.

It is easy. Just have to follow your motherboard's manual and get some help online and you're set. They make it very simple for you.

I did the flex tube thing.

I also made sure that the case I was getting allowed me to run the wires and cables behind and under the mobo.

Hated the flat IDE cables they had at the time so I'd buy the round versions.

Computer components are designed to go in one spot, and are designed to go in one way. Unless you have the electricity plugged in, and turned on, it's very easy to assemble your own computer first time round.
