There some things about it that bug me but overall, I really like it. There's a bit of a learning curve for the swinging and the combat, but once you find that flow, everything falls into place perfectly. Also, this, hands down, have the best web swinging/city traversing.

That's hard to answer. I'm pretty comfortable dropping $60 on it, personally.
I guess it depends on your circumstances, like you're on a budget, waiting for a price drop, etc.

I've been doing side stuff and collectables. Just getting that stuff out of the way early. I've already got a bunch of my favorite suits from doing all that.

Im enjoying the game a lot so far. I take breaks though.

I think people get bored fast because they play 6-8+ hours at a time and try to speed run. Take your time and enjoy the game.

Just slinging around the city stopping random crimes and getting new suits has been awesome to me.

I've been working on the web-swinging skill tree and it's crazy how fast and fluid he starts moving around.
There are so many times where I'm also reminded that this is an Insomniac Spider-Man game. There's a gadget that you can throw out in a fight that goes around zapping people, plus one of your suit ability let's you summon a helper bot that also shoots people. Having both of them out is not only delightfully pandemic, but it feels very Ratchet and Clank too.

Yes and that's a good thing. I haven't played it. But this was known it would be like Arkham. It's on purpose and people WANTED it. Spiderman Arkham is a good concept

Unlike the batman games this isn't tap square to win. You have to pay attention when you are fighting.

To be fair, I don't think that's a fair way to describe the Arkham games.
While this game have some clear inspiration from those games, I had to take a moment to stop thinking I was still playing Arkham to get better at this.

The Arkham game are more rhythm based and remember certain patterns for each enemies, whereas this game focuses a bit more on spacing and brawling. You can be a bit more wild here during combat than you can in the Arkham games, while in Arkham it rewards you more with timing and how percise you pick everyone off.
I'm so glad the multiplier doesn't fall off for missing a hit in Spider-Man like it does in Arkham. It really shows the priorities for both games.

I'm addicted to the side stuff. Something about them being so quick to do combined with the fun traversal. I'm going through the story at a glacial pace and then when I finally got another story mission there's more side stuff to do!

I'm gonna 100% this game for sure which I rarely do

Spider-Bro and the attack drones is such a ridiculously powerful combo. It really fells like an Insomniac game, because I got a Ratchet and Clank vibe when I first did it.

Same here! I don't even mind the repetition, I like knocking out the side stuff and collectibles when I can. I touch the story when I cleared everything that's available.

no, a lot of the ones that are used for suit mods are completely pointless

save them up for suits and gadget upgrades, with suits getting the priority if you care about trophies

I went back and did some of the combat challenges but this time, I just did it sloppy and brute forced it as long as I was taking everyone out fast enough and gee, you guys were right. It's odd to me to put that much emphasis on time. Not that it's not important but still.
