Doubtful. If anything is fired up democrats to actually go out and vote to get rid of this shit house. The right was always going to be frothing at the mouth with hatred of him and Hillary. Them not fucking off and going away wouldn't change that.

This was mentioned while I was driving in my car earlier today so I'm not going to be able to link it, but apparently if you look at the counties where Obama won in 2008/2012 and Trump won in 2016, Obama still has a higher favorability rating than Trump does.

Maybe he wasn't the best president but at least he is able to remind voters that it is possible to have politicians that are cognitively capable of formulating some coherent reasoning behind their positions on policy instead of just treating all voters like children by justifying policy with fear mongering and deep sate conspiracy theories.
