Current Events > To those that played Battlefield V... how do you feel about it?

For some reason.. it feels... meh. I honestly have no idea why. On paper it's everything I want in a BF game outside of it being a Modern Shooter. BS deaths feel practically nonexistent. Everything feels great. It just feels.. ok to me when I actually play it. I can't explain it.

Anyone else have an opinion on this?

I like it as well...I think. It's different. Only thing is I find it hard to see people because it's so dark. Weird complaint I know. Only played a few matches but will play more tonight.

I'm trying it now.

Or not. My graphics card drivers are too out of date rofl.

Also I should be playing 2 point hospital I just need one star left on this one level.

is it just me or is the menu laggy? The video in the background is fine but the menu buttons don't light up instantly and it's throwing me off.

I hated it honestly, i was expecting it to be more like bf1, it's too slow for me.

I like that it's a little slower, the gunplay feels a lot tighter than BF1 and I'm actually getting a decent amount of kills.

It looks like you can't mark enemies any more though?

EDIT: Also I put my graphics to medium and I get a really dark shadow from buildings close to me but then it's excessively bright beyond the shadow, it's really distracting.

Im pretty good at it getting at least 4 or 5 kills per death on conquest so I like it. Some of the maps are designed weird.

The contrast is killing me - the outside areas are hella bright and then the inside areas are prohibitively dark. I don't know if it's my graphics settings or what.

Also that special event you have to complete to get the dog tag? Glitched af. I am making progress on objectives for maps I haven't even touched (I've only played two rounds on Rotterdam rofl).

also you don't get nearly enough ammunition, like three clips. I kill two or three guys and then I'm screwed.

I've seen a female Asian model running around quite frequently now rofl. I don't know what's up with that (don't think I've seen any white or black women).

Also apparently *every* class is able to revive, just the medic class does it faster, except it's glitched. And now when someone's bleeding out they lie there on the ground with their hand stretched out to you and shit. I felt so helpless watching this Mongolian girl bleed on the streets of Rotterdam and my E key was useless.

i like it. The shooting feels great since they got rid of RNG bullet spread.

Ok you *do* get ammo from enemies which is nice, I didn't notice that before.

Also PSA: There's the Shock Trooper Grand Operation thing for the Beta PLUS an Assignment (Assignments is an option on the home screen) for the Beta. It looks like they might give two separate rewards, but you can make progress on both simultaneously.

I was wondering what the number next to the squad leader's name meant, I thought it was a beta glitch or something. BUT, apparently it's the squad's score, which lets you "purchase" special bonuses like the killstreaks in CoD. So at certain levels as squad lead you can summon a giant ass tank or even call in a really devastating rocket. That's pretty awesome.

Its clunky and slow. And the new ammo and health mechanics suck. The ammo box is near useless now since the packs can do everything much better on the move. As a dedicated support player, this makes me a sad panda.

The fortifications thing is the only thing i really like, but i can easily see it being overlooked by 99% of players.

The language censor is totally jacked up.

It censors "DLC" but not "Free DLC". It censors "tit" and "titanfall" but not "titan". It censors "nazi", "jew" and "white man" but not "black man". -_-

I liked it a hell of a lot more than the BLOPS 4 beta

it feels decent to play, hard to find a loadout I really like but at the same time I haven't found a gun that I just despise so that's a plus

I like the city map a lot more than the snowy one

so far I'm a lot more hyped for BFV than BLOPS 4. BFs Battle Royale also will probably be a lot better than Blackout but I'm not gonna judge that yet since the Blackout beta is next weekend.
