With everyone going with games as a service... Gone are the days of beating a game and moving on to the next game. It.'seems even worse when you are into multiplayer games.

How do you personally balance the games you play when you have multiple games you want to play but with limited time?

Other than fighting games, since online multiplayer is practically dead

I only play one single player or story driven game at a time, and play that until completion. As for multiplayer games, I either play whatever my friends and I come to a consensus on, or whatever I feel like dicking around on to pass time.

Works well, although my backlog tends to grow faster than I finish games.

I'm usually just playing one or two grindy games at all times while I slowly make progress with something that has a defined end.

When a game interests me, I play it. When I get tired of a game, I stop playing it.
Whether I "finish" a game or not is inconsequential, and I don't have a "backlog" in spite of having a library of thousands. I play what I want, when I want.

Have a few multiplayer games that are mainstays for me. Then single player games that I swap out when I beat them.

Usually a;
- Home console or PC game that I play when I have long stretches of free time
- Switch game
- Something I can casually play (usually streaming to a laptop while the TV is on or something)

I don't play many games as a service titles however.
