treewojima 09/04/18 1:08:26 PM #1:	He's a good manager and a great guy, but he didn't share the same views with upper management as to how things should be done in the trenches. So they had him come in for the end of the month to do payroll, and as soon as he turned that in they told him the news. He says he kinda felt something changing because of the shift in tone from his superior, but he didn't suspect it to be a full-blown shitcanning this quickly. Nobody that worked under him is happy about the situation - I'm even pretty pissed even though he wasn't technically my boss anymore. All I can hope is that the new guy is a worthy successor. It's not his fault - I blame our micromanaging asshole of a fixed ops director who likely made the call.
