The truth is that black men that grow up in these predominately white suburbs do not have that much to relate to. Yes, there are plenty of black men that live in these environments, but we kind of factionalize ourself to impress other white people. However, you will eventually escape that environment whether it is high school or college. That is when the real world arrives and it will put you in the same battle with your black counterparts against racism Yes, you might have heard the n word or a bunch of silly mundane black jokes, but you have not really felt real systematic racism yet. I might get modded for this, but the vast majority of white Americans will not be able to relate to you at all and they will let you rot in the streets while they benefit from white privilege. Just because they aren't some KKK n word swinging type of racist does not make them not racist. Last, do not be afraid to be black to try because you are scared it will scare away white people. This will just weed out the toxic people that will harm you later down the road. For example, there is no reason in hell that you should be friends with somebody that is against black lives matter or Collin Kaepernick. These people will just see you as a convenient black bat to bash liberals and other black people with. In addition, as soon as you make a statement they disagree with you will go from the "good black guy" to a ******* in a heart beat. Also, just because somebody claims to be a liberal(Democrat) does not mean they are not racist either.
