I can't imagine not being there for it. It wasn't an enjoyable experience but there was something beautiful about it. I raised her from the time she was a pup, it was a gift to be able to say goodbye to her as she passed. Sure it's sad but it would be sad to just give them to a vet knowing you're never gonna see them again. Those flea repellent liquid drops & collars we got were costly and apparently didnt work for s*. I was petting my cat a final time when I noticed the fleas starting to crawl out, I shut the box right away and took him outside to get buried.
