i just rewatched this and the reason we both die is because the knockback from the light gun pushes GMUN back into me so that we're both in hitbox

i was so sure that I was out of the way and I was but Mewtwo slid back juuuuust enough

edit: also I was very pleased to get a small measure of revenge by getting a reflected KO on SHINE the very next match

oh man I had no idea or that yellow devil could even do that

also yay nice the full video ended up being recorded after all, it just wasn't all up at the start so hurrah Lloyd beating Diddy stays

I'm still though incredibly confused how my Lloyd's moveset changed from the one that Paper faced...

Cokes (Ike) vs GMUN (Falcon) on Wrecking Crew

First stock GMUN gets up 172-23 on damage, but I successfully dodge a Final Smash and an Assist Trophy before dying.

That translates to a 67% damage lead on the second stock, which GMUN builds to 87. I fight back and get it to 120-134 (no thanks to a Gogoat, which is 100% useless on Wrecking Crew) before I get the kill.

My first lead of the match is 1-2(134%), but I can't do anything before GMUN gets the kill to even the match.

Lots of back and forth on the last stock, GMUN hits a smash that probably kills me if it's charged, then he tries to edgeguard me and just... dies?

GMUN what happened there? Did you up+b facing the wrong way?

... damn jigs too short at that small platform dip to be hit

I just rewatched the Pac-Man/Jigglypuff match (1:45:00) and I think that the second half of that match might have been the I played on a technical level the entire night. You had a two stock lead and I managed to win despite the fact that I never *technically* hit you with the Final Smash, and despite your big damage lead on the final stock

Plus that drill kill was incredible

If you watch carefully during the Dark Pit/Lucario match you can see the exact moment when my thumb injury started to really act up

Also the fact that you countered my arrow at the range you did (last stock) is total bullshit
