Went there this morning as the person I was with was treating. We tried the new blended protein cold brew drinks. I had the almond one and they had the cacao one. I mean I've made almond milk protein drinks at home before. How bad could it be?
Sweet lord almighty! They're like trying to drink cold sticky cream of wheat. And taste almost exactly like that too. Just with a little coffee taste.

I've had bad protein drinks and bad Starbucks drinks before. But my feeling on those if just eh, I'll never buy this again. No. This should carry a warning about how god awful and grainy it's consistency is and the near complete lack of flavor. What an abomination. I took mine home split it in half to double it while I blended it with banana, ovaltine and milk. And I'll be damned that even will all that it's still grainy and nasty. It's like it's non flavor sucks the the actual flavor out of everything else.

I think it's the way their machines brew it, if you get the same roast in one of their fancier machines, the clover or whatever, it's significantly better.

I usually default to getting shots of espresso over ice with soy milk, cheap and decent.

I tried one a week ago. The almond one.

It was horrible. If I hadn't picked it up in the drive thru on my way to bring my daughter to school, I would have asked for something else.

I think I took three sips thinking maybe it would grow on me, but each sip made me want to gag a little.

starbucks is frequented alot in the safeway almost every morning. it's staffed by adults.

those arnold palmer teas they sell at starbucks seem to work but it's not the preferred way that i seem to like.

it's mix of actual lemonade and iced tea. not syrup and a tea packet.
