Tennis player Alize Cornet quickly changed her shirt and put it on the correct way because it was backwords, a violtion was called on her, its a bunch of bull imo, much ado over nothing, she did nothing wrong
She quickly removed her top, momentarily revealing a black-and-red sports bra, to put it on correctly. Umpire Christian Rask called a code violation warning for unsportsmanlike conduct on Cornet, which definitely caught her by surprise. I think just the umpire was probably overwhelmed by the situation, said Cornet, after losing her doubles match Wednesday. You know, we were all very hot outside. Maybe it just didn't make the right decision. Of course, I was surprised when I just changed T-shirt really quick and he gave me the code violation, I didn't expect it, and I told him it was pretty weird. I kept playing, I was trying to win my match. So I just got over it very fast. And now after thinking about it, 'Yeah, I'm just convinced that the umpire was making a mistake. Since the incident, social media has blown up over the incident. By Wednesday morning, the United States Tennis Association, who operates the US Open, issued a statement apologizing to Cornet. I love how people are crying sexism against women because usually indoor breaks are only given to them. Like, if anything that's sexist against the male players.
