I'm definitely expecting 50+, going by the Witcher 3, and this presumably being at least as long.

There's no chance that full playthrough with most side quests is less than 80h.
And there will be free DLCs and probably a couple of expansions later on.

I did everything on my second playthrough of Witcher and it took me 120h. Every sidequest, explored everything, etc. Add maybe 20h on top of that because I already knew what to do in most quests.

They said they want to create the biggest open world game.
Biggest as in amount of things you can do, not the map size. But that will also be huge.

I took a similar amount of time to finish the game + DLCs (albeit on my first playthrough) and still had loads of quests and other content left over. Even just the main game + some other content took me well over 50 hours.

Actually it's a bit less, just checked it.

108h for everything. Every question mark explored, even in Skellige and all Witcher gear sets crafted and upgraded to the highest level.

And Cyberpunk will probably have even more variety and replay value.

FPS's are inherently shorter than traditional RPGs. I have a feeling it will be shorter than the Witcher 3, but we'll find out whenever it comes out.

So what if it's played from first person?

Doesn't mean it will have less content. At the end of that presentation V says something about exploring the city without guns, so there will obviously be a lot of content.

I'm just saying I'll be shocked if the total playtime exceeds the 50 hour mark.

And tbh, a game doesn't need to be a billion hours to be amazing.

I'd be shocked if it's under 60h for just the main story, without side quests.

50+ for sure for the main story alone. Also the fact that there will be many options and choices to choose from which can change the main stories outcome with multiple playthroughs and different dialogues with a male and female main character? 500+ hours easily.

It's a very different beast from the Witcher, what with the amount of polish this has and the variety of new game systems. It's not like going from Witcher 2 to Witcher 3 where you can reskin assets and build on existing systems.

That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if it's 80-hours long or something like that.

I don't expect it before Q4 2019.
