I guess we just differ on this subject because I think gender dramatically impacts our circumstances. It also impacts our personalities.

Imagine if you had been born to the same parents, same geographical location, same upbringing, same school....but you had been born a female. Do you think you'd be happier right now? Do you think you'd be on a video game message board right now?

More generalizations, and more things that require guessing and imagination. But still worth thinking about.

The way I see it man or woman if you're really attractive I'd assume you'll get a lot of sub par messages regardless. Still you're right some guys will want to shag anything but this can apply to some gals too. Although granted it's not as common with gals. Still I know I'd rather have a lot of fish in the lake then none at all.

Do people need to give substantial reasoning for "the nature of the relationship matters more than gender"? That's pretty obvious. Trying to describe it in terms of gender is misunderstanding the nature of relationships and emotional health.

I'm guessing Jen has received enough unwanted dick pics to fill a scrap book. Maybe if you're super hot, women are as forthright about it as men, but idk.

I've never been on a dating site, but I've met a few women through an app, and if I came on really strong, it would've been game over.
