It just is. Better acting than ever before, Luke gets deconstructed brilliantly and the whole film is visually beautiful and exciting in a way Star Wars never has been.

It's not bait, it's genuinely my favourite. It made me feel excited by Star Wars like I did when watching the original trilogy as a kid.

I liked both of the new ST films a lot. A critic can deconstruct them and Im sure they have problems but I just cant see past the awesome Star Wars-ness that they contain.
