from what i've seen, it's about the same percentage that straight up prefer black men...there's a very devout subsect of girls that only date guys with beards, i estimate 10-15%

I got lucky with my wife. Asian women aren't normally fans off facial hair, my wife on the other hand loves my beard, the longer the better. She was quite disappointed when I had to trim it short for work.

It's not that most modern women hate beards.
It's really most women hating UGLY guys with shabby beards. A physically attractive man with a rugged yet well kept beard typically just gets hotter and more female approval. It's usually not the beard that turns women off.
