It's not racist to exclude anyone you're not attracted to. However, wording is everything and it's obvious everyone's reasons for why they dislike others differs. Anyone writing it that way is definitely racist despite not liking a particular race not being a racist thing in itself.

I'm a white guy from the south who was raised in a largely racist family. I was racist until I was old enough to think for myself but I wasn't HATEFUL.

I would say "I'm just not attracted to them. I know it's not right...but try explaining that to my penis."

But after enough time around black people and after stopping and trying to make sense of seeing them as different...something happened. I don't feel that way anymore.

Because it has nothing to do with that to them. These same types pedestal Asian women, marry them and have children with them. This situation happens to me too. Co-workers, in a situation where co-workers would naturally talk and start forming bonds. They'll be a seemingly nice person and speak out against racism, wrongdoing in society in such. Yet despite that they'll have a partner that is a racist piece of shit and the epitome of causing and supporting those things.

They just pretend like it's not a big deal when you bring it up to them and ask them how they can be with someone like that. "Yeah, it's bad but when he's not being a racist piece of shit, he's the greatest guy of all time". It's why I don't trust White American women in any capacity. How are you going to be friendly with a group of people the man you love and start a family with (thus are raising children that can inherit his views) hates and celebrates the murdering and general wrongdoing of?

It's because it doesn't affect them so they could care less. It's all about them because it's inconvenient to just pick one side since they can play the White card and oppressed by White men as a woman card simultaneously. American White women are the most disloyal woman I have ever dealt with. Even as a racist White man, I wouldn't understand why you'd want someone that's not all in backing you in your corner.

racism =/= hating all people of a particular race. it means that you discriminate (in some way) solely on the basis of race. this qualifies, and is not a horrible thing.

if you aren't attracted to fat women (solely on the basis of their fatness), you ARE discriminating based on their weight (and appearance of their body), and that's fine. you are allowed to do so.

if you aren't attracted to someone based solely on their race, you ARE discriminating based on their race. that's fine, and you are allowed to do so.

similarly, you can discriminate based on age, gender identity, sex, occupation, education level, and whatever the hell else you want to. It doesn't mean you hate any of those people in whatever groups, it means you choose not to date them, and you don't have to date anyone you don't want to (for ANY reason)

When I was on Tinder half the girls that mesaged me would have some variation of no black guys or some kind of preference I didn't fit.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. But, regardless, it's completely irrelevant. People can choose who to date, and who to exclude... for whatever reason they please. Whether it's preference, OR thinking that blacks are sub-human or whatever.

There can be some reasonable debate over whether or not it is racist to not want to date other races of people. There can be no reasonable debate over whether or not your statement is racist though - it most certainly is.
