Tons. Many random encounters, and several boxes of chained pokes from diamond. I even randomly caught pokerus in Ruby on TWO different playthroughs. Funnily enough, Ive never encountered a shiny in ruby, just something much more rare

I dont think ive ever encountered a shiny Pokemon through my whole life in playing through all the Gens except for Red gyarados. Even when i was using the egg method with the foreign Pokemon about a few hundred times.

I have 30-40 in X, all legit. Or mostly legit anyway.
