What's funny about using him as an example is that his situation is probably one of the best examples of people on both sides of the conservative/liberal coin agreed that the accusations against were ultimately without (legal) merit. And people dealt in absolutes like "believe women always." Extremism like this going to collapse. There are at least two sides to every story, even when all sides are telling the truth. The Aziz Ansari case crippled #MeToo, and Chris Hardwick dealt the killing blow. The Aziz case should have been an eye opener, showing that normal people can overstep without realizing it. But people just got confused deciding whether or not Aziz should have a career. And Chris Hardwick showed that dealing in absolutes does not work. Social media culture is so toxic in that judging others is encouraged, and forgiveness is frowned upon. I hope this turns around. --- I am the Cheese! I am the best character on the show! While that would be ideal, we've known for a long time now that actual victims of such crimes take a long time to say anything because of fear and psychological damage. The longer someone waits, the harder it is to collect evidence.
