Ooookay! Finally "done" with the playlist thing. I had some mistakes here and there (in the playlist and in the Excel document) but I've fixed it. If you're tired of my playlist posts, I'm sorry, yes, I know I'm annoying with that. But either way, here's how things improved.

For Version 3 of this, I slightly updated it, putting the image below the name, so I don't have 1 row with names, because that's dumb.



So, for Version 4 of this, I put different images for the idols, decided to put Shika in there just for kicks, and made the edges thicker. Instead of using the word "Yeah" for the songs I have, I decided to put "Yeah [letters in the idol name] and the version of the playlist it was put on" this makes it easier to search, for example, how many Takane solo songs were put into Version 3, by searching "Yeah Ta V3". This is just so the Excel search is more accurate.

I don't know if that works, so if it doesn't, oh well. If it does, great! Pop the playlist whenever you feel like it. I also advice putting shuffle on, there are some part of the playlist where one idol repeats a lot. For example, from video 481 to 519, it's Makoto only. So shuffle helps with that. Only videos I'm somewhat mad at are Arcadia (because I couldn't find a non-gameplay version) and Solo Azusa Massugu (because it has those "burst" thingies where they do a cute pose). Outside of that, I think it's great. Being from different users, volume somewhat varies, but not by much.

Also, props to Iori for making a big bump, from 9 solo songs to 22, along with sub 50 total song appearances to almost 150!



Her voice did grow on me, along with Hibiki's and Miki's, too.

So, enjoy. If I know where to easily put the text version of the 1200 songs, I will post it too, just so you guys/gals can find it easier, if you want an specific song, or if the song is there at all. But I don't know where, so yeah.

Ohhhhhhhh, so that's what they are. I've only seen one, it's on Youtube. It was really cool. I don't know what it was called, but Chihaya, Haruka and Miki all get lost due to taking one train or something like that, because Miki thought it was going to be a prank, but it went wrong or so.

Well, I sure appreciate some nice words here and there about what I do from time to time!

However, I very much doubt making a single Excel document is more than enough for that. Speaking of documents, would it be possible to create some sort of "simple looking" document and put the in Google Drive?

That way, I guess it would be possible for everyone to see what song is in what # of the playlist, just so you don't have to scroll 1200 videos to control + f something.

It's a bait-and-switch Youtube Channel where the group of rippers upload music from videogames (and sometimes fake videogames) and then said videos have a "joke" at the start, middle or end of video. Sometimes it's a rip of another video game track, sometimes it's a real life song. For example, this one:

It starts as Yogurt Yard, and then goes and plays "Take on me" in KNiDL soundfont.

For a while, the channled was "rebooted" and some memes in the channel were replaced by some counterparts, for lack of a better word. A song from Love Live "Snow Halation" was "replaced" by iDOLM@STER "GO MY WAY!!" in some tracks. This one is more of a broad example of the songs that (at least at the time) were commonly used in the Siivagunner uploads.

After reading some comments about "Go my way from idolmaster" I decided to look myself what the hell was this idol thing. The first video I saw, it had Haruka, Yukiho and Makoto. As soon as Haruka started singing I was like "Oh, it is one of those generic anime girl games, okay" I was about to close the video when Makoto started singing, and I was like "Yo, hold up. That girl, what's her name, her voice is sexy af" I scrolled the comments and found it. I listened to the songs with her only and was sold on iDOLM@STER.

Edit: Also, that's how my playlist started. It was Makoto only or songs that had Makoto on them. After a while, I decided to include all idols (at first due to some songs I liked not having Makoto, as she doesn't sing them, but then because I liked them all at the end).

I watched it originally (before doing anything else related to the series) because I heard it had catchy music sequences/catchy music in general which I love. I'd never watched anything idol related before.

The series is actually what inspired me to learn to read Japanese. After it was over, I was like "that was pretty cool, wonder what the games are like" but of course none were translated. So I thought hey, I do nothing useful with my spare time, I'll start learning. My main initial goal/motivation was actually just to play Idolm@ster but I ended up getting more into VNs. That was like... four years ago now?

I never got into anything else idol-related (like Love Live etc, or even other Idolmaster stuff other than 765), pretty sure Idolmaster is the only one I'll like. I was thinking about watching Cinderella Girls sometime though.

Upon watching the original anime for the first time, my initial favorite was actually Iori by quite a bit. But the games made me like Yayoi more.

Nope. Infact, Puchimas! was the first thing related to iDOLM@STER that I have watched, outside of some animation from games (Like edeN with Miki, Takane, Yukiho and Makoto and the like). I got into iDOLM@STER just the past year, Siivagunner memes too strong. Most of the stuff I know about the idols was reading whatever information the wiki has (which sometimes is pretty limited) and adding songs in the playlist (like some bits of personality).

I'm sure I'm not the most hardcore iM@S fan in this topic, but I try. (I still have to play a game, after all).

Edit: Talking about favorites, Makoto for sure will always be #1 for me, but posts in this topic, songs about them, and actually giving them a chance for some songs, I ended up liking Iori, Hibiki and Miki a lot more than I initially did.

Will do! I saw a Youtube video of Makoto's best moments from the anime, so I really wanted to see it. Also, it's somewhat weird seeing Azusa with long hair, since I'm so used to seeing her with short hair. I know she's like that in the first game, but still.

For a different topic, for the google thingy for the playlist, the Youtube tab, the counting tabs, and the Solo tab are complete. Will do the Groups tab for it to finally be done.

If it's too laggy, I'll probably just do a text version for everything. I did it with images since they are pretty, but sometimes efficiency is more needed. Sorry to bother a lot with this, but it is fun to make.

Finally done with the google thingy. Now not only trying to find songs in the playlist should be easy, you can see if an unit has done it (I mean, you could do that with the Youtube Playlist tab...) but also look at the solo list too! ...which you could also look at the Youtube Playlist tab...maybe doing those were not neccessary by any means, but they're done either way. The Idol and Music count are there if you want to flame me for not putting your favorite idol in lots of songs, I guess.

I've always liked Little Match Girl a lot from the first time I ever heard it.

Not sure about overall favorite but it's up there.

Maybe I should give it a listen to some of those Two Dee groups.

For me, Me ga Au Toki, Kyun! Vampire Girl, edeN, Agent Yoru o Yuku and We Have A Drean are some, not in order, but for favorite they could appear.

Not really against this song or anything, but I find ToP!!!!!!!!!!!!! quite...weird. It's just...eh.

Yo, the Anime is such a banger. Really interesting to watch, pretty funny and the serious moments (at least, the ones I've seen) are handled really well for just ~25 minutes per chapter.

I have only seen the first 5 chapters, and I like all of them. The cooking one was pretty funny.

The one where the main 13 idols are present. I think it is just called "THE iDOLM@STER". It's the adaptation of THE iDOLM@STER 2. Also, chapter 8 had quite a bit of Makoto, so it was pretty good.

Sorry, Spidey. I use chapters because it's what I'm used to. In spanish, almost every T.V. show/anime/drama shows and the like, are reffered to having "capitulos" (Chapters) or at least, I've always heard it that way, so for me they're basically synonymous, even if they're not.

Movies are the obvious one left out, as they are "Pelculas". Only places I truly use the word episode are for the Star Wars thingies, as they have it right there, Episode 2 or 3 or whatever they are.
Outside of that, it's always a "Hey, viste el nuevo capitulo de la serie X? La animacin estaba bien maciza*" (Yo, did you see the new X series chapter? Animation was baller". Very rarely people used "Viste el nuevo episodio de Y? El giro de la trama fue ridiculo!" (Did you see the new Y episode? The plot twist at the end was something crazy!"). At least, from where I am that's the case.

* Also, this word is mostly used for something that was "really good", as the direct definition of that word is "really consistent building material, no holes or cracks".

Yeah, I have friends and relatives who are more used to Spanish (or that was their first language), and they definitely do use different words in place of ones we normally use in English.

Hibiki is top five. Some day I'll narrow that list down. Probably looks something like:

Yayoi
Yukiho
Iori
Haruka
Hibiki

But it's unofficial for me now (other than number 1 of course)

For me a top 5 would be:

1.- Makoto
2.- Yukiho
3.- Haruka
4.- Ritsuko
5.- Mami

Always been partial (as in, I like them) for Azusa, Chihaya, Takane, Ami and Yayoi. Iori, Miki and Hibiki sure took a while for that, however.

One another note, I finally decided to put a tab in my Excel thingy for a sort of "last time this idol has appeared on a song", as well as graphs and percentages in relation to idol appearances for every song. For example, in edeN:

Haruka has 10.94%
Chihaya has 7.81%
Yukho has 10.94%
Yayoi has 3.13%
Ritsuko has 4.69%
Azusa has 7.81%
Iori has 3.13%
Makoto has 15.63%
Ami has 3.13%
Mami has 6.25%
Miki has 7.81%
Takane has 10.94%
Hibiki has 7.81%

It took quite a while, but I'm glad it's done.
