Animation sometimes looks quality (as in, "quality") but I still love it. Only watched the first episode, but I liked it a lot. The original one? You hadn't seen it? I watched it originally (before doing anything else related to the series) because I heard it had catchy music sequences/catchy music in general which I love. I'd never watched anything idol related before. The series is actually what inspired me to learn to read Japanese. After it was over, I was like "that was pretty cool, wonder what the games are like" but of course none were translated. So I thought hey, I do nothing useful with my spare time, I'll start learning. My main initial goal/motivation was actually just to play Idolm@ster but I ended up getting more into VNs. That was like... four years ago now? I never got into anything else idol-related (like Love Live etc, or even other Idolmaster stuff other than 765), pretty sure Idolmaster is the only one I'll like. I was thinking about watching Cinderella Girls sometime though. Nope. Infact, Puchimas! was the first thing related to iDOLM@STER that I have watched, outside of some animation from games (Like edeN with Miki, Takane, Yukiho and Makoto and the like). I got into iDOLM@STER just the past year, Siivagunner memes too strong. Most of the stuff I know about the idols was reading whatever information the wiki has (which sometimes is pretty limited) and adding songs in the playlist (like some bits of personality). I'm sure I'm not the most hardcore iM@S fan in this topic, but I try. (I still have to play a game, after all). Edit: Talking about favorites, Makoto for sure will always be #1 for me, but posts in this topic, songs about them, and actually giving them a chance for some songs, I ended up liking Iori, Hibiki and Miki a lot more than I initially did. --- I got no corny lines, so enjoy the image.
