CNN suffered another humiliating defeat in the cable ratings during the week of August 6 through August 12, according to Nielsen Media Research.

Cable news competitors Fox News and MSNBC wiped the floor with CNN, with FNC finishing first in average primetime viewers and more than doubling CNNs primetime ratings. (RELATED: MSNBC Joins CNN In Ratings Behind Nickelodeon And HGTV)

Fox News reached 2.18 million primetime viewers, while MSNBC finished 2nd with 1.75 million and CNN finished 7th with just 992,000 average viewers for the week. CNN fell behind Home and Garden Television, USA Network, The History Channel, and TBS Network.

..no one is. they still exist in other ways like their website. its just that these days unless its a big event like an election no one is watching cable news except for older people. the majority of people get their news from other sources or use the website to get a condensed version of said news....i know you're going to try and keep shitposting to deny that so do you my dude...and before you say it, i don't watch CNN, i don't use their website, i just know this is the reality these days.

I imagine it's about as good as you could hope for for news programming. There are obvious flaws when it comes to measuring viewership for content that people might watch or stream afterwards, which people aren't doing for news coverage.

Could be wrong, though.

Well, I guess I got carried away. What I should have said is that the liberal media neglected to focus on positives within their own party, and went 100% effort trying to slam the other side. Eventually, their viewers and readers got tired of the crap and the same thing is happening to the other networks.

Oddly enough, MSNBC is the one that I dislike least of the three because sometimes they have crime documentaries and murder mysteries. They seem to be the most diversified network of the three involving program slots. FOX and CNN just play their own crap on repeat until its time for a new episode.
