Pulled a few goodies with Grizzly, Gr Mk23 and WA2000. Got me to shuffle around my teams, is this a good rf/hg team?

That'll definitely make for a great RG/HG team once they're all leveled up. Both of your rifles will come very close to reaching the fire rate cap and will be doing a ton of damage. However, keep in mind that HG's are terrible as tanks until level 80 when they can equip Exo's to increase their evasion. If you're not at a point where you'd have a team that high, I wouldn't make a pure RF/HG team yet. I'd go with a mixed formation with both RF's and one HG, then throw in either an AR/SMG or MG/SG for the rest of the formation.

Your Mk23 has the same buff tile arrangement as my PPK pictured, so you could basically do the same thing as these formations with your choice of MG/SG or AR/SMG. In your case, if you go AR/SMG, try to pick an SMG with a hand grenade or molotov to take advantage of the huge damage buff that Mk23 gives.

Only decent SG I have is M590 and I'd have to put her at 9 to hit any MGs. Dunno if that's a good spot for tanking

If you don't have an SG/MG pair that can both buff each other at the same time, arrange them so at least one of them is getting a buff from the other. If you can't find a way to do that, then just don't use that pair. Trying to match up the buff tiles does matter quite a bit.

If you have an MG that can buff the SG while it's in the 6 spot, I would go with that setup instead, but you could try that formation with the SG in the 9 spot and see how it works out. Your HG might take some hits from enemies in the lower row, but the SG will still take most of the assault since it's farther ahead in the formation.

Uhhhhhhh... you might be using the wrong recipe.

RF's need 400/91/400/30 in normal and 4000/1000/4000/1000 in heavy, while MG's need 600/600/100/400 in normal and 6000/6000/1000/4000 in heavy. If you're using a correct MG recipe, there's no way you should be getting any rifles because the rations requirement for RF's isn't being met. SMG's (400/400/91/30 and 4000/4000/1000/1000) are what you'd have most of the overlap with if you're using a correct MG recipe, but you shouldn't be getting any RF's.

What was the recipe, exactly? Manpower, Ammo, Rations, Parts, every number. You were either using an un-optimized recipe that gave you less of a chance to get a MG, or you were wasting resources using a recipe that had no chance to give you a MG in the first place.

The history has everything listed. It just shows what someone got from it. So it could have been any number of recipes that even had a small chance of dropping her. I'd recommend going to the production log, specify MG, look through it, and pick the one that is used the most often to get her.

Or just look up a recipe online for her, but I like the production log because I can just tap the recipe and it uses it.

In that case, it had to have been some sort of ridiculous recipe like 600/600/400/400 or something like that, where every single possible gun in the pool (besides handguns) is obtainable and that person just got insanely lucky with it. If you're going for a certain gun or a certain weapon type (with a few minor exceptions), definitely stick to the optimized recipes in that link I posted. Otherwise, you're either wasting resources, giving yourself worse odds to get what you want, or in some cases like this one, both.

Negev (and other MG's) = 600/600/100/400
Mosin (and other RF's) = 400/91/400/30

Like I said above, using something like 600/600/400/400 to have all of them in the pool and a chance to get both will not improve your odds to get either one.

Besides those three, just follow the optimized recipes. I'll say that line over and over again, because that's what works best and keeps me from having to explain it over and over.

MGs do like accuracy quite a bit. You definitely won't ever need ROF with MG so don't even bother with those. In fact, almost always you should be equipping the one that gives acc and damage over -ROF cuz you're basically not even seeing the -ROF as a cost, compared to some of the other units. This is cuz MGs have fixed ROF, and it only affects their reload, which you can cancel if you practice enough (except great agony and the walk back of shame. You'll know what I mean)

As for Ithaca, probably one of the best SG formation pattern because you get to use a ton of HGs like I'm doing. For MGs, all you need are like corner buffs, as exemplified by MG5 and PKP there

For Shrimp, standard SMG recipes work. I also have a maxed team with her. She just needs as many ARs as possible, and maybe you might want like a Vector or an M16. Vector will help the team kill faster, since this is a kill them before they reach you team. M16 will provide the kind of tankiness that Shrimp naturally won't, because she doesn't like the -dmg evasion equipments

Thanks, but I already know about and have been using that Wiki (and some others, since that one has been down for some time now), but I was just wondering because I read that there are specific recipes for certain T Dolls; ones that give a higher chance than the regular optimized recipes.

I thought about putting together a team like this, but instead of 2 HG's, I would have a RF in the back row (most likely WA2000) and the front HG would be the only one buffing. Sadly, I haven't pulled a single decent MG whose buffs line up with Ithaca's to where both of them buff each other.

As far as I can tell, those are a bunch of crap. If two recipes meet the requirements to create the exact same possible crafting pool, one of them using more resources or arranging them a certain way won't suddenly make a certain unit more common. That's superstitious bullshit.

3 HG and 2 RF builds are pretty common though, though that requires some practice in kiting

This is my current team build (2RF/1HG/1MG/1SG) that uses Ithaca as the only tank:



Leveling up MG3 to eventually replace LWMMG is in my future plans now, and eventually I'll find a different RG or MG to replace Springfield with as well. You're right about RoF boosts being mostly useless for MG's, so if I go 2MG instead of 2RF, I'll probably replace PPK with some other handgun that raises damage or accuracy instead.

Next event is a boss battle event. Kill bosses, get stuff. Trade stuff for some sweet prizes. Including a costume for Kalina.

I already know what the next event is. I'm saying, since 5-7 was given out in the JP version, and she's not reappearing, they should switch her with another 5* instead of something lame.

WA2000 already has a decent RoF and can boost hers as well, and the RF that I was thinking of replacing Springfield with (M14) also has a good RoF herself. So it's not like either one would be drastically worse if they're getting damage buffs instead of RoF buffs.

Yeah, Mk23 was one of the handguns that I was thinking of using. There's also Type92 and G17, who would give accuracy to the backrow and evasion to Ithaca at the same time, but no actual boost to damage output. G17 would give a higher accuracy buff, but she's also a limited drop that I don't have yet.

Yeah I originally went for Evasion for Ithaca by using Type92, but since it's a % increase and Shotties have worse evasion than MGs, you're actually better off stacking armor or damage.
