Well, Ralph is doing Justice League and will still make some content. But yeah it sucks he won't make anymore of his standard fare after JL :(

In my mind he was like RLM's young apprentice. His *blank* sucks videos were basically plinkett reviews.

It's worse than him just going on hiatus though, he's turned several of his old videos private. I'm worried that he thinks he's "growing up" or something when really the blunt and imperfect criticism was never IMO a flaw but just a style. These movies are not the worst movies ever, you pretend they are and it makes the video essay funnier, but growing a year or two and realizing your subjective opinion wasn't as objective as you thought it was at the time is a terrible reason to take it down.

I'm fine if he takes months off or something, I just hate the idea that he's done with it. Same with Pre-rec. People giving up on caring about something is always super depressing to witness.

No, they said that the streams in particular were still fun but they were getting to the point that they were worried they would stop being fun, so they wanted to end before things got bad.

They aren't retiring from RLM or anything but no more game reviews or streams which is a huge bummer. Their Police Quest 1 and 2 streams are amazing entertainment.

Several, but I think "man of steel sucks" is one. Also he's been struggling with youtube who keeps blocking him making fun of that terrible animated show nutshack, but that's youtube's awfulness.
